Compass Floral Studio
Welcome to Compass Floral Studio! In 2015, I was pregnant with my first child and my husband and I were both working from home. I had a lovely garage/ potting shed studio with a dining room office and my husband was working out of our second bedroom. We would soon be needing that second bedroom for the baby so we started discussing our options. Our property is a little over 1 acre and with a fairly small home, we had plenty of room to build. I can't remember how we stumbled upon shipping container structures, but after many hours on Pinterest and YouTube we decided that shipping containers were the way to go for building out a workspace for both of us! In my portion of the workspace I have my floral studio, a walk in cooler and vase storage. We have a pretty cool bathroom full of plants and an old clawfoot tub, my husband has his office and a space for all of his tools. Take a look!
